At our specialized polyurethane manufacturing facility in Dals-Ed, Sweden, we are leaders in the production of high-performance moulded polyurethane products. We integrate cutting-edge technology with our deep expertise in material science, producing solutions that meet the highest industry standards. Our expansive 11,000 square-meter facility, one of the largest in Scandinavia, is home to seven high-efficiency production lines, allowing us to manage large-scale production, with over 3,800,000 moulded polyurethane components produced annually.
As industries evolve, so do their material needs. Our moulded polyurethane solutions are designed to meet the increasing demand for precision, durability, and high-performance properties. Whether it’s in automotive, industrial, or other sectors, our products offer exceptional durability, impact resistance, and comfort. By optimizing properties such as hardness, density, and cushioning, we ensure that each solution contributes significantly to the end product’s efficiency and performance.
We work closely with clients to create bespoke formulations, fine-tuning the characteristics of each moulded component for maximum impact. Every solution is thoroughly prototyped and tested before entering full-scale production to ensure it meets the precise requirements of the application.
From concept to reality, our production process is a testament to precision and technical expertise. Once the custom formulation is finalized, it’s transferred to our state-of-the-art production lines. Our skilled engineers combine polyol, isocyanate, and specialized additives to create the perfect blend for each project. This mix is carefully poured into molds, where robotic systems guarantee the exact consistency and efficiency required for every part.
The polyurethane then cures, expands, and solidifies to form the final product shape. To ensure that every moulded part maintains its integrity, we use a cell-crushing process that enhances the material’s resilience and consistency.
Quality is our top priority, and we implement rigorous inspection procedures at every step of the production process. Our experienced team conducts thorough checks to guarantee that all components meet the highest quality standards. If any part shows signs of damage, we assess it for potential repair, ensuring that only the best products reach our customers. A final quality assurance check is carried out before packaging, with each product stamped with the mark of our commitment to excellence.
With our advanced moulded polyurethane technology, we are dedicated to providing solutions that not only meet but exceed expectations. Our products are engineered with precision, durability, and reliability in mind, making us a trusted partner for a wide range of industries.
In moulded polyurethane, a polyurethane mixture is poured into a heated mold where it inflates and cures to form the final part.
The tool is placed on a round or oval table, or in a stationary press. The same tool is usually reused. The total cycle time is approximately 4–8 minutes.
Both the upper and lower parts of the tool are coated with a release agent to prevent the polyurethane from sticking.
Reinforcements or inserts are placed in the tool as needed. A vision camera ensures they are positioned correctly.
The tool, heated to 55–60°C, is filled with a specific polyurethane mixture (polyol and isocyanate). CNC robots pump the mixture at high pressure.
The tool is closed, and the polyurethane inflates and cures for 4–6 minutes.
The tool is opened, and the part is removed carefully. The part is placed on a table for cell crushing to maintain shape. Additional curing time is allowed before packing or post-processing.
At our Dals-Ed facility, we combine innovation with expertise to craft moulded polyurethane products that fulfill your exact needs. Whether your application is in the automotive, industrial, or another sector, our tailored solutions are designed to help you achieve superior results.
